Admit
Card: Candidates who are applying for the DEI entrance test are
waiting for their admit Card. Admit Card will be download from01/05/2015. Candidates keep in
touch with the DEI website for more updation regarding admit card and other
details.

Selection Process For This Post:
► Written Test: As a
part of selection process, all candidates
will be called for written and/or
practical test whereas , for admission to B.Tech (Full –
Time) , no written test will be conducted as their JEE (Mains) score will be
considered. Appearance in Written Objective Test is mandatory for admission and
the applicant will appear in it at his/her own expense. Questions will be of
objective type with each question having four possible answers (only one
correct). The scope of the written test would span over the level of the
qualifying examination along with questions on General Knowledge. There will be
no negative marking. Only such candidates, who appear in the written test and
score at least 30% marks would be eligible to be interviewed for admission.
►Personal
Interview: Written test and
obtained at least 30% marks, will be called for personal interview subject to a
maximum of approximately five times the number of available seats in each
course. However, all Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates who satisfy
the eligibility conditions and have appeared in the relevant written test and
have scored at least 30% shall be called for personal interview.
► Final
Selection:
Final selection for admission will be made on the basis of the
merit list prepared based on the following
parameters .
A. Academic Merit computed from the marks obtained in various pre-qualifying and/or qualifying
examinations.
B. M arks obtained in the Written Objective Test or practical test
C. Interview

How
To Download Admit Card:
1. The applicants should
log on to the official website of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission
2. Go to the downloading
window and enter the required details for generating your admit cards online.
3. The applicants should
enter their Registration ID/ Application ID as provided at the time of
applications. Also enter the names of the applicants’ father/ mother/ husband
names in the appropriate places.
4. Click then Submit Tab to
generate your admit card online in the aforesaid manner.
5. The applicants should
make sure that they download their admit cards on time before the examination
date.
Note: Use of electronic
devices like mobile phone, calculator is NOT PERMITTED in EXAM Materials like
log table, book, notebook should NOT be brought into the examination hall.
