About NIMCET: National Institutes of Technology (NITs)
are Institutes of National Importance and are Centrally Funded Technical
Institutes. The NIMCET is NIT MCA Common Entrance Test, a National Level Test
conducted by NITs for admission in to their MCA pr ogramme. The admission to
the MCA pr ogramme in to NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut,
Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and
Warangal for the year 2015 – 15 is based on the Rank obtained in NIMCET – 2015
only.
Eligibility Criteria: BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum
three years full – time OR BE / B Tech or equivalent from a recognized
University are eligible to appear for NIMCET – 2015 test.
Admit Card: Download the admit card between 08/05/2015 and 30/05/2015 at any time and write the NIMCET – 2015
test which is scheduled to be conducted on 31 st May 2015 ( Sunday ) between
10.00 A.M and 12.00 noon at various test centers listed in Table 1 of Section
10 . Candidates should be present in the examination hall of the test center
before 9. 30 am on 31/05/2015 . Syllabus and test pattern are given in this
brochure.
Test Pattern: NIMCET – 2015 test will
be conducted with only one question paper containing 120 multiple choice
questions covering the following subjects . Multiple Choice Questions will be
written in English Language only and will not be translated into any other
language.

Application Fee : The non – refundable processing Fee
for NIMCET – 2015 test and counseling for admission to the MCA programme is Rs 1,800/- for OPEN/OBC category and Rs 900/- for SC/ST category candidates .
Candidates have to deposit an appropriate amount relevant to their categories

online for the entrance test through the website of www.nimcet2015.nita.ac.in Candidates may apply online for the post
Candidates fill the online application correctly and completely. Other mode
will not be accepted Online application starts form 16/02/2015 to 06/04/2015. Candidates have to unload scanned photo
and scanned signature on the application form after filling the online
application candidates take a print out of online application along with the
relevant documents and application should be reach at The Secretary, NIMCET-2015,
