Odisha Judicial Service Competitive Examination–2015 for the recruitment of
Civil Judge. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams
gets too tougher. Candidates facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and
“How to prepare” to give their best in their exams. So, here we are providing
the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Civil Judge Pre & Mains Exam
conducting by Orissa Public Service Commission (OPSC).
Preliminary Examination
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the Civil Judge (Pre)
Exam is as Follows:-
► Written Exam will be multiple choice objective type.
► There will be one composite paper carrying 100 questions of one mark each.
► Each question paper will be of 100 marks.
► The time duration for each paper will be 01:00 hour (60 minutes).
► The will also be negative marking of 25%.

Examination is given below :-
Compulsory Papers
PAPER – I
General English-
(a) Translation and Retranslation of ten lines each
(b) A short Essay of about 150 words
(c) Précis writing consisting of 300 words
(d) I (one) passage of about 500 words with 5 questions
For “Translation and retranslation of ton lines each”, there will be two passages, i.e. one in English to be translated into Odia and another in Odia to be retranslated Into English.
General English-
