LATEST NEWS:- India Post had conducted a written exam followed by Computer Test for Recruitment of Sorting Assistant & Postal Assistant for various Regions in the Country. India Post has conducted Re Exam for MP Circle on 15 March, 2015.
Examination (Paper I) for Madhya Pradesh Postal Circle, held on June 22, 2014, has been cancelled. A Re-examination is being scheduled. Candidates, who appeared in the last Examination (Paper I) held on June 22, 2014, will only be called for the Re-examination on 15 March, 2015.
The Department of Posts, trading as India Post, is a government-operated postal system in India; it is generally referred to within India as “the post office”. Written Exam was conducted on 15 March, 2015 for MP Region. Candidates then called to appear for Computer Based Typing Test on 22 March, 2015. Selection is based on Marks of Written exam & Typing Test.
Post Result Procedure:-
- Successful candidates have been allotted to Regional Post Offices.
- Selection is provisional and is subject to the candidates fulfilling all the eligibility conditions for which the selected candidates have to submit valid and acceptable documentary proof.
- Individual Offer Letter of Appointment will be issued separately. Date of Joining, Reporting Place and Place of Posting (Branch/Office) will be informed in due course.
- Induction training for first batch of candidates will commence from 10th November 2014. Communication in this regard will be sent to candidates who accept offer of appointment , on completion of pre appointment formalities. They are required to be in readiness to proceed to Postal Training Centre, Mysore for 8 weeks training.
