JMI University: Jamia Millia Islamia
National Islamic University is a public central university located in
Delhi. It was established at Aligarh in United Provinces, India during British
rule in 1920. It became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament
in 1988.

|
B.A./B.Sc . or B.A. / B.Sc./B.Com.(Hons.) with not less than
45% marks in aggregate OR 50% in the subject concerned.

Bachelor (Under Graduate)
|
1. Senior Sec . School Certificate or an equivalent
examination with not less than 5 0 % marks in aggregate and in the subject
concerned.
2. Senior Sec . School Certificate or an equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks in aggregate or 50% marks in the subject concerned. |

Diploma
|
1. Secondary School/High
School Certificate of a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks in
Science and Maths, or PCM as the case may be (Other than Bioscience).
OR 2. Senior Secondary School Certificate / Intermediate or an equivalent exam. from a recognized Board with not less than 40% marks in aggregate of Science and Maths or PCM as the case may be (other than Bioscience). Admit
Card:
1. The Admit Cards/Hall Tickets will be sent to the candidates by post.
2. The applicants may also download the admit cards from the University website.
3. The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss during transit.
4. If the Admit Card is not received in time or is lost by the candidate, he/she may also contact in person the office of the concerned Department/ Centre/Faculty along with acknowledgement receipt application form number, bank slip for having deposited the fee and the receipt issued by the Post Office for having dispatched the application form for getting duplicate Admit Card.

1. Fee in Cash may be deposited at JMI branches of either Indian Bank or Bank of India. For such payments, students are required to collect the Pay – in Slip from the concerned Department/Faculty/Centre’s office.
2. Fee in cash may also be deposited in other branches of Indian Bank or Bank of India by generating a Fee Payment Challan online on JMI’s website (http://jmi.ac.in/feepayment).

Forms : Candidates seeking
admission to any Program (except Ph.D.) in Jamia Millia Islamia may obtain the
prescribed OMR Application Form along with the Prospectus from the University
Counter at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) on cash payment of Application Fee.
Application on prescribed form completed in all respects for all programs
should be submitted either in per son or by post/courier, in the Office of the
respective Faculty/ Department /Centre on or before the last date of submission

Forms : The Admission Application
Form may also be submitted On – line on JMI website http://jmi.ac.in /online admission form.
Candidates applying through online mode must read instructions available on the
webpage for online submission . In case of On – line submission the
printed copy (hardcopy) of the application must reach the respective Faculty/
Department /Centre on or before the last date of submission otherwise the candidature
of applicant shall be rejected.
