& Steel Factory, Ministry of Defense, Ishapore will conduct a Written
exam for recruitment ofIndustrial Employees in Semi-Skilled Grade in Various
Trades such as Machinist, Fitter (General), Turner, Millwright, Carpenter, Fitter
(Electric), Blacksmith, Fitter (pipe), Grinder, Fitter (Instrument), Welder,
Mason Brick, Fitter (Boiler), Chemical Process Worker and Boiler
Attendant. The standard of Competition level is raising with the time period as
we are going onwards and time passing away rapidly. So candidate should knows
that what should they have to prepare for their performance in examination.
Candidates who are going to face this exam and are ignoramus about the scheme

Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for Semi
Skilled Grade written Exam is given below :-
General
Science : Question will be aimed at
testing the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him.
Question will also be designed to test knowledge of basic science studied upto
10th standard and would include such matters of every day observations and
experience as may be expected of any educated person.
Quantitative
Aptitude : The candidate will be
tested for general mathematics of upto 10th Standard involving number systems,
equations in two variables, simple and compound interest, perimeter area and
volume of geometrical figures, Direct and inverse proportions, Pythagoras
theorem and trigonometry.
Knowledge of Technical Trade : NCVT Syllabus of relevant trade.
