OSSC Exam Admit Card 2015

Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) had invited applications against Advt. No. 4052/OSSC dated 31.12.2014 for recruitment to the posts of District Culture Officer, Assistant Curator and Technical Assistant. Written Test of these posts will be held in the month of April, 2015.

Examination Date : 05.04.2015 (SUNDAY)

Admit Card : The Commission shall upload the Admission letter for the convenience of the admitted candidates on its Website. “www.odishassc.in”. The candidate has to go to the website of the Commission click on the button ‘candidates login’ and then provide ‘user Id’ and ‘password’ upon which the status of the application will be displayed on the screen. The Candidates who have been admitted in to the examination can download the admission letter before some days of exam date.

Plan of Examination

The examination shall consist of the following stages :

a) Main Written Test	200 marks-2 papers Paper-I : English & Odia Language – 100 marks of 1½ hours duration Paper-II : General Studies – 100 marks of 1½ hours duration
b) Computer Skill Test	50 marks (½ hour)	15 minimum qualifying marks
c) Viva-Voce	25 marks

Paper-I :- The questions will seek to test proficiency in English & Odia languages
The questions are objective type with multiple choice of Answers in OMR sheet.

Paper-II :- General Studies : The questions on General Studies & History/ Archeology & related subjects.

Computer Skill Test:- (50 marks) 
(a) Basic Knowledge & skills of computer (b) Internet & E-mail (c) M.S office. or as prescribed for OS-CIT course as decided by the Govt. in Higher Education Department.

CAUTION : Mobile phone or any other communication device is not allowed into the premises of the OSSC examination centre. The candidates are advised not bring any such banned items to the examination centre venue, arrangements for safe keeping cannot be assured. A fly infringement of these instructions might entail debarment of the concerned candidate from the particular examination.
