Know
“WBJEEM – 2015” : It is the Common Entrance
Test for admission to different degree level courses in Medical, Dental,
Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in Universities,
Government Colleges as well as Self Financing Technological Institutes in West
Bengal.
Preamble : Interested and desirous candidates who wants to take admission
in Academic Session 2015-16 of colleges in West Bengal, so they are going to be
a part of this entrance examination. As we all know, this is not a simple game
to chase an entrance test, as standard of competition level is going upwards
day per day, now its become tough to crack the nut of any entrance test and
achieve a better score. So, aspirants must know that what stuff will they face
in their exam. Now, here we are providing latest and prescribed syllabus and
pattern of questions for WBJEEM-2015.
Exam
Pattern : Scheme and Pattern of Questions for WBJEEM-2015 is as follows :-
→ In exam, all questions
will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ-type, with four options against each of
the questions)
→ The answer(s) to each of the questions has to be marked on the OMR.
→ Questions must be answered on specially designed machine readable answer sheets (OMR Answer Sheet). ANSWERS ARE TO BE MARKED (BUBBLED) USING BLUE/BLACK BALL POINT PEN ONLY ON THE ‘OMR ANSWER SHEET.’
→ Questions will be of three categories, divided as per following table.
→ The answer(s) to each of the questions has to be marked on the OMR.
→ Questions must be answered on specially designed machine readable answer sheets (OMR Answer Sheet). ANSWERS ARE TO BE MARKED (BUBBLED) USING BLUE/BLACK BALL POINT PEN ONLY ON THE ‘OMR ANSWER SHEET.’
→ Questions will be of three categories, divided as per following table.

1 :
(a). Only one option is
correct, correct response will yield 1 (one) mark.
(b). For incorrect response, 25% of full mark (1/4) would be deducted and
(c). For more than one answer indicated against a particular question in the OMR sheet; the said answer will be treated as incorrect response/answer. Marks will be deducted on the basis of rule enumerated in Clause (b) above.

2 :

3 :
(a). More than one option
may be correct and marking of all correct options will yield 2 (two) marks.
(b). For any combination of answers containing one or more incorrect responses, net mark awarded will be zero (0) and
(c). For partially correct response without any incorrect marking: Marks awarded = 2 × (no of correct responses)/(total no of correct options)
