Applications are invited from the eligible OBC & ST candidates who are the Domicile of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Lakshadweep Island to fill up the post of Junior Assistant (Fire Service)/ NE,4 under SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE at various airports in the above states in Southern Region. Total number of post likely to be filled and the eligibility criteria for the post is as follows.
Detail of Vacancies : Junior Assistant (Fire Service)-NE-4 :- 86 posts
Age Limitation : The candidates’ Age shall not be less than 18 & not more than.
i) 35 years as on 30/06/2015 for ST
(ii) 33 years as on 30/06/2015 for OBC
(iii) Length of service extended by 3 yrs for Ex,servicemen belong to ST & OBC only.

Salary : Rs.12500-28500**.
Educational Qualification : (i) 10th Pass + 3 years’ approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile Fire with minimum 50% marks (OR) (ii) 12th Pass (Regular Study) with 50% marks
Application Fee : Demand Draft for Rs.100/, (Rupees One Hundred only) [non,refundable] drawn in favour of Airports Authority of India, payable at Chennai so as to reach on or before 31/07/2015. Please mention Name of the candidate on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. ST candidates & Ex,Servicemen belong to OBC category are exempted from payment of fees.
Selection Procedure : The candidates will have to appear for written test, physical measurement, driving test, endurance test, and interview. The candidates will be allowed to appear in driving test / physical endurance test subject to passing the written test. Appointment to the post of Junior Assistant (FS) is subject to fulfilling eligibility conditions and successful passing of Basic Training Course for a period of four months. During training, incumbent is entitled for stipend as per the rules.
