Online Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Professors in the following subjects in the Pay Band-III of Rs.15600-39100 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/- plus usual allowances as admissible under the rules of University of Delhi from time to time.
Detail of Vacancies : Assistant Professors :- 26 posts
Pay Scale : Pay Band-III of Rs.15600-39100 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/-
Educational Qualification : Good academic record with at least 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Persons with Disability viz physically and visually disabled or those who passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D. Degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
Candidates must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC (State level eligibility test-SLET/SET).
Application Fee : The application fee is Rs. 250/- for General/OBC applicants and Rs. 100/- for SC / ST applicants. This is payable only Online and non-refundable. • No application fee is applicable for PwD applicants.
How to Apply : Only Online Applications are accepted. PwD candidates may apply Online or Offline. PwD candidates may obtain Application Form from the office of the College on all working days between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM up to 23.06.2015. Offline Application form for PwD candidates is also available on College Website http://zakirhusainpgeve.in
After filling the Online Application Form, applicants are required to print the Application Form, attach self-attested copies of degrees, mark-sheets, research and teaching experience certificates, testimonials, caste-certificate (where applicable), disability certificate (where applicable) etc. and submit the same to the college office on any working day (Monday to Friday) between 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM or sent through Speed Post/ Registered Post to the college address. The hard copy of Online/Offline application form, complete in all respect must reach the office of The Principal, Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening), Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, New Delhi-110002 on or before 03.07.2015.
