Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is going conduct HP Judicial Service Competitive Examination–2015 for the recruitment of CJ (JD). So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Civil Judge (Junior Division) Exam conducting by Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC).
Preliminary Examination
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the Civil Judge (Pre) Exam is as Follows:-
► Written Exam will be multiple choice objective type.
► There will be three papers in this exam.
► Each question paper will be of 100 marks.
► The time duration for each paper will be 01:00 hour (60 minutes).

Hindi (in Devanagri Script) No books prescribed. The paper of Hindi will comprise of the following :-
Translation of English passage into Hindi.-30 Marks
Essay in Hindi on any topic out of three. -50 Marks
Composition (Idioms and Corrections etc.).-20 Marks
(The standard for the language paper shall be that of Matriculation examination of the HPBOSE)
Hindi (in Devanagri Script) No books prescribed. The paper of Hindi will comprise of the following :-
Translation of English passage into Hindi.-30 Marks
Essay in Hindi on any topic out of three. -50 Marks
Composition (Idioms and Corrections etc.).-20 Marks
(The standard for the language paper shall be that of Matriculation examination of the HPBOSE)
Minimum Qualifying Marks :
(i) No candidate shall be credited with any marks in any paper unless he obtains at least 40 percent marks in that paper, except Hindi language paper (paper-V) in which candidate should obtain at least 33 percent marks.
(ii) No candidate shall be considered to have qualified the written test unless he obtains 45 percent marks in aggregate in all papers and at least 33 percent marks in language paper i.e. Hindi in Devanagri script.
