Counseling & Admission Procedure: A combined merit list of the appeared candidates shall be prepared subject group wise on the basis of the marks obtained in the Jharkhand combined entrance competitive examination 2015 and candidates shall be recommended for admission to degree courses seats under the control of JCECE Board ranchi from the said list only by following reservation policies and other admission criteria prescribed by government. Every Institute will be considered as a unit for applying reservation. The verification of certificates documents would be done at the time of counseling/ Admission.
About JCECEB: Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board was constituted under Section 85 of Bihar Re-Constituted Act, 2000 by the Govt. vide Memo No. 374 dated 29.03.2001. The Government of Jharkhand has assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission into various Institutions in the state. J.C.E.C.E.B. presently organizes the following entrance tests annually (depends upon the approval granted by the respective Departments of Govt. of Jharkhand for the respective session.
Result was announced on the website of Jharkhand JCECE. Candidates keep in touch with the Jharkhand JCECE website for regarding counseling and other details.
Instruction For Counseling: Computerized distributed parallel counseling would be conducted by the board. Information for counseling would also be available on board website. Counseling venue Controller of examination Science & technology Campus Srikha Toli Namkum Tupudana Road Namkum Ranchi.
Counseling will be conducted in two rounds:
1st Round Counseling: After publication of result. Candidates will be called for counseling as per merit rank. Information regarding date of counseling time and place will be given through the leading daily news paper of Jharkhand state as well as board website. In Counseling Only After scrutiny of all the required original certificates documents and satisfying from identity, Candidates will be allowed to select institute and Course/stream on merit cum choice at candidates order.
2nd Round Counseling: If Seats remain vacant after admission of recommended candidates during the first round counseling. Second round of counseling will be held.
Counseling Fee: Candidates of general BC (I/II) Category Who have been Called for counseling will have to submit challan IPO Of Rs 300/- (Rs 250/- in case of SC/ST Category) to participate in the counseling.
Documents at the time Of Counseling:
Candidates called for counseling must have to produce original copies and self attested photo copy of following certificates/ Documents at the time of counseling. A Candidates can be debarred from allotment of seats branch/ Institute in case of not producing any one of the following original certificates/ documents.
► Admit card, Mark sheet, Passing certificates (Original/ Provisional) Of Matric/ 10th/ Equivalent Examination.
► Admit Card, Mark Sheet, Passing Certificates (Original/ Provisional) Of I.Sc/ 10+2 / Equivalent Examination.
► Local Resident Certificates issued by S.D.O (civil)/ D.C Of Jharkhand state.
► One Post Cards & Six passport Size Photographs (Made from the same negative of photograph Uploaded at the time of filling up the online application form.
