Assam Public Service Commission had invited application for recruitment of Stenographer Grade I (both English and Assamese) in Assam Secretariat through Advt. No. 02/2012 dated 23.02.2012.
APSC had shortlisted Total 39 candidates and prepare a Merit list for candidates qualified for Stenography Speed Test. Lists of such candidates are kept in the Commission’s enquiry counter and displayed in the Commission’s Website at www.apsc.nic.in for information of all concerned. Both Selected and Rejected Candidates now have to appear for Stenography Speed Test (English and Assamese) on various dates. Date Schedule is available for Stenographer Typing Test on Assam PSC website.
Date of Test :- Interviews for these various posts will scheduled to be held on 23rd of November 2014 on various time.
Venue of Test :- Venue is changes from Commission’s Office, Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 to Department of Computer Science, Cotton College, Guwahati.
Interview Call Letter :- No intimation letter to the eligible candidates shall be sent separately by post. The intimation letter shall be uploaded in APSC’s website on 10th Nov., 2014. The candidates shall have to download their own intimation letter from the aforesaid website. Any query in this regard shall be entertained over telephone no. 0361-2363117 during working working hours w.e.f. 17th Nov., 2014.
Important Note :-
► The Commission will provide computer/typewriter for printing/typing the dictated passage, However, candidates may bring their own type writer for the same. The candidates are requested to intimate the undersigned in writing about their option for transcription by means of computer and type writer on or before15.11.2014 for making necessary arrangement by the Commission.
► If the candidates do not appear at the Stenography Speed Test on the scheduled dates, their candidature will be cancelled by the Commission straightway.
