FEROZEPUR CANTONMENT was establishment in the year 1839 when Capt. HM Lawrence was posted as the Assistant Political Agent of N.W. Frontier. It is situated about 5 Miles East of River Sutlej & about 2 Miles South of Ferozpur City. Ferozpur City and Cantonment being situated on the Indo-Pak Border have not witnessed much of industrial & commercial development. Ferozpur Cantonment is a Class I Cantonment. The Cantonment is connected to the City by Jhoke Road and to the River Sutlej by GT Road.
Ferozpur cantonment Board written Exam of Assistant Teacher was conducted on 18 January, 2015. Candidates who qualifies the written exam will have to appear for Teaching Proficiency Test and Interview. Final selection will be based on marks of written exam and review of Teaching Proficiency and Personal Interview.
