ITBP PST/PET 2015
Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force had invited application for 229 vacancies of General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) as Head Constable (Telecommunication). As per recruitment rules it was pre-decided that shortlisted candidate will go through various test/examination for this recruitment. In which, Phase-I is Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
ITBP had shortlisted the candidates and prepare a Merit list for candidates qualified for PST/PET Test. Selected Candidates now have to appear for these Test on various dates on decided Recruitment Centre for each State. PST/PET Schedule is available for Head Constable (Telecom) on ITBP website i.e. http://itbpolice.nic.in/
Date of Skill Test :-
From 02nd of February, 2015 onwards.
Admit Card : Admit Cards to candidates whose names are appearing in this list have already been sent on their present postal address as mentioned in their applications. In case of non receipt of Admit Card, the candidate can also appear at concerned Recruitment centre with a printout of concerned page of this list along with their Photo ID Proof and two passport size photographs.
Test Rules (Phase – I)
i. Physical Standards (Height and Chest)

| For candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K | 165 cms | 78-83 cms |

ii. Weight: Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards prescribed by MHA.
Height Bar
At the very beginning of recruitment process, candidates will be asked to go through the height bar test. The candidates not meeting the prescribed height will be eliminated.
Race
The candidates, who qualify the Height Bar Test, will be subjected to 1.6 Km Race in 10 minutes to qualify for further tests. No marks will be awarded for race and it will only be qualifying in nature. Those who do not qualify the race will be eliminated.
No Race or physical Efficiency test will be held for Ex-Servicemen and departmental candidates. However, ex–servicemen and departmental candidates will be required to pass the requisite PST, written examination, trade test and medical examination.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Candidates who qualify the race will be screened for height, chest and weight measurements by the Board.
Those who do not meet the required physical measurements will be eliminated at this stage.
Biometric Identification
Those who qualify Race and PST will be subjected to the biometric identification to obviate impersonation by the candidates.
