NABARD Officer Grade A, B  Syllabus
National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development eminently known as NABARD will going to conduct an ONLINE Written exam for recruitment of Assistant Manager Post under Grade A & B. As we all know that Post of AM is very prestigious & taking greater knowledge with responsibility. So NABARD conduct this Exam in two Phases. PHASE I will be Objective Type & Phase II will be Descriptive Type.

Exam Syllabus:- Exam Syllabus for NABARD Phase I Exam is given below:-
Reasoning:- Focus on Comprehension Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions,  arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements.
English Language:- Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms,  Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.
Quantitative Aptitude:- Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.
General Awareness:- Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge. Focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture & Banking Sector. Some questions from Marketing can come in the exam.
Computer Awareness:- Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology. Remember short cut Tricks of MS Word, MS Excel & Computer Abbreviations.
NABARD Assistant Manager Exam PHASE II (Descriptive Test)
Phase II Pattern:- Candidates who are qualified in Phase-I exam will be Appeared in Phase-II exam. In Phase-II examination there arethree Descriptive type papers.
(i) Paper I – English(100 marks) : Common for AM (RDBS), AM (Rajbhasha), AM (Legal) and Manager (RDBS)
(ii) Paper II – Economic and Social Issues (100 marks) : Asst. Manager (RDBS) and Manager (RDBS) only
Please Note that Paper II will be Different for AM Rajbhasha & Legal Service but carry same marks i.e 100 Marks.
(iii) Paper III – Analytical Paper on Development, Statistics, Finance and Management : For Manager (RDBS) only
► Each of these papers is of 3 hours duration.
► Phase-I (except the test of English) and Papers II and III of Phase-II will be set bilingually in Hindi and English & can be answered either wholly in Hindi or English.
PHASE II Syllabus:-
(i) Paper I – English: Essay, Précis writing, Comprehension and Business/Office Correspondence.
(ii) Paper II –
Economic and Social Issues: Nature of Indian Economy – Structural and Institutional features – Economic underdevelopment – Opening up the Indian Economy – Globalization – Economic Reforms in India – Privatization. Inflation – Trends in Inflation & their Impact on National Economy and Individual Income.Objectives of Economy Planning- Evaluation of Indian Planning Poverty Alleviation and Employment Generation in India – Rural and Urban – Measurement of Poverty – Poverty Alleviation Programmes of the Government. Population Trends – Population Growth and Economic Development – Population Policy in India. Agriculture – Characteristics / Status – Technical and Institutional changes in Indian Agriculture – Agricultural performance – Issues in Food Security in India.
Rajbhasha :
i) Synonyms, antonyms, idioms, similar words, use of articles and prepositions, transformation of sentences, direct and & indirect speech. (ii) Correction of sentences. (iii) Punctuation iv) Expansion and comprehension (v) Letter-Writing (vi) Essay-Writing.
Legal:
(1)The Constitution of India (2).Indian Contract Act, 1872 (3) Partnership Act, 1932 (4) Companies Act, 1956 (5) The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (6) The Transfer of Property Act, 1882 (7) Sales of Good Act (8) Industrial Disputes Acts, 1947 (9) Trade Union Act, 1926 (10) Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (11) Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (12) Indian Easements Act, 1882 (13) Specific Relief Act (14) Indian Succession Act, 1925 (15) Hindu Succession Act, 1956 (16) Information Technology Act 2005 (17) RTI Act, 2005 (18) Sarfaesi Act, 2002.

(iii) Paper III –
Analytical Paper on Development, Statistics, finance and Management:
Development Economics: Measures of development, Economic Development Models, role of subsidies, importance of savings and investment, Importance of agriculture, Terms of trade in agriculture, Development issues in India.
Statistics: Basic statistical concepts, Summarizing of data, Frequency distribution, Measures of Central Tendency, Relative dispersion, Elementary probability, Relative frequency approach, sampling, Axiomatic Approach, Elements of integration and differentiation, Set theory and their applications, Permutations and Combinations, Matrices, concept, notation and types, Analysis of frequency distribution.
Finance: Financial system in India; Banking and financial Institutions in India; Informal financial system- features, characteristics and issues; Microfinance significance and importance; Union fiscal budget; Project finance-Assessment and Sources for block capital, working capital, Infrastructure financing- Sources of capital, instruments and methods, salient features;Development finance- scope and needs of development finance; Concept of project cycle management, Log-frame analysis, goal oriented planning;Participatory rural appraisal, significance of development finance.
Management: Functions of Management and tools of management; Leadership styles; Human Resource Development; Organizational climate; Motivation; Change management; Organizational Communication; Role of hierarchy in organizations; Strategy planning & Management- SWOT analysis, Evolving Organizational Vision-Mission-Goal, Development planning and Joint problem solving; Corporate Governance and Corporate Responsibility- Elements of good corporate governance; Right to Information Act- Whistle blower schemes; Importance of Corporate Social Responsibility,
