North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) will conduct a Written exam for recruitment for 12 vacant posts of management/engineer cadre. Written Exam of these posts will be held in upcoming dates.

Candidates who applied for this Competitive Exam should download their E-admit Card or Hall Ticket to enter in prescribed Exam Centre of these posts Exam conducting by NEEPCO. No Admit Card or Hall Ticket will reach home of Candidates by post, it can only be download in upcoming dates before Exam for the following posts :

SELECTION PROCESS : The selection process shall consist of Scrutiny of application, Written Test and Personal Interview of shortlisted candidates as per the discretion of the Management. List of eligible candidates to be called for interview will be made available at www.neepco.gov.in. The call letters will be sent through post.
Holding of written test will be the discretion of the NEEPCO Management depending on the number of eligible candidates. If the management decides to hold written test, then the centres will be Agartala, Aizawl, Guwahati, Imphal, Itanagar, Kohima, New Delhi & Shillong.
Candidates should opt one of the Test centres and no change under any circumstances will be allowed. However, Management reserves the right to cancel or add any centres at its discretion. In case, any of the above opted centres are cancelled, concerned candidate shall be allotted the next listed centre nearest to their correspondence address.
ABOUT INTERVIEW/WRITTEN TEST : The written test, if conducted, shall be of 100 marks of one and half hour duration with qualifying marks of 50% (40% for SC/ST/PwD). Short listing of candidates for interview will be done on the basis of performance in written test. Interview shall also be of qualifying in nature and candidates securing 50% in the interview will be eligible for empanelment (40% for SC/ST/PwD). Written test shall be given 85% weightage and interview 15% for preparation of final merit list.
However, candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview based on their performance in the written test (wherever held) in the ratio of 1:7 (i.e. seven candidates for one post). For positions where written test is not conducted, candidates will be short-listed on the same ratio based on the marks obtained in the required qualification.
