Assam DON BOSCO University: Assam Don Bosco University is a State Private University founded
on March 29th 2008. The university was established through the Assam Don Bosco
University Act, 2009 on 9 January 2009 and created under Assam Private
Universities Act 2007 in the State of Assam, India.

from JEE(Mains), any State Entrance Test or the Don Bosco University Graduate
Entrance Test

Entry)

B Tech for Diploma
Holders from AICTE approved Polyetchnics (60% marks) and BSc (PCM) graduates
(50% marks). Valid scores from Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test
(DBU-GET) – mandatory requirement.

MCA
|
Graduation in any
stream with a minimum of 50% of the aggregate marks. Pass marks in
Mathematics or equivalent at the +2 or graduation level .Candidates must
appear for an Entrance Test – Assam Don Bosco University Post Graduate
Entrance Test (DBU-PGET) for MCA and a Personal Interview

M.Tech
|
Graduation/Post
Graduation in an appropriate area of Engineering/ Science with a CGPA of 6.5
(10 point scale) or 60% in the aggregate in the qualifying examination.

MSW
|
Graduation in any
stream with 50% in the aggregate. Those who have a background in Social Work
/ Psychology / Education / Sociology / Home Science / Human Resource
Management will have an advantage.

Psychology
|
Graduation in any
stream with 50% in the aggregate. Those who have a background in Social Work

Master In Education
|
Graduation in any
stream with 50% in the aggregate. Those with experience in the field of
educational administration will be preferred.

Master In Human
Rights
|
Graduation in any
stream with 50% in the aggregate.Those who have a background in Social Work /
Psychology / Education / Sociology / Home Science / Human Resource Management
will have an advantage.

Master In Mass
Communication
|
Graduation in any
stream with 50% in the aggregate. Those who have a background in Mass
Communication, Journalism, Photography, etc., will have an advantage.

Graduation in any
discipline with a minimum of 50% of the aggregate marks.

PHD
|
At least 55% marks
or a CGPA of 6.0 on a scale of 10 for the Master’s degree, M. Tech or M. Phil
in the concerned subject or an allied subject. Entrance test and/or interview
to be conducted by the University.

Cost of Prospectus: Rs 600/- (Rs 650/- if applying by post), payable in cash or DD in favour of Assam
Don Bosco University.
