Master/ Mistress Exam:- Education Department, Chandigarh had conducted Written exam for 584 posts of Masters/Mistresses (TGT). Paper I for Master/ Mistress was conducted on 14 February, 2015 & Paper II was conducted between 14-28 February, 2015.
Candidates who appear for Chandigarh Edu Deptt. Master/ Mistress Exam, are waiting for Answer Key very keenly. News for them is that Answer Keys has been uploaded on Recruitment Portal website.
About Exam:- Written exam for was conducted for Masters/ Mistresses (Trained Graduate Teacher) in Science (Non- Medical), Science (Medical), Social Studies, Mathematics, Music, Fine Arts, English, Hindi, Punjabi, Sanskrit, DPE and Home Science.
Please Note:- There were two Papers in Written exam of Master/ Mistress post. Paper I is common for All, In Paper 2 Multiple choice questions related to subject(s) for which the candidates has applied asked. Level of questions was as per qualification prescribed for the post.
Cut Off Marks:- Qualifying marks for each test will be 40% for SC category candidates and 45% for all other candidates. Mere attain qualifying marks does not guarantee for Selection.

Objection:- For Paper-1 of all subjects and Paper-2 of TGT (Social Studies, Medical, Non-Medical and Mathematics) date(s) regarding uploading of answer key and submission of obiections are 3-3-2015 at 2:00 pm and the objections can be submitted by 9-3-2015 up to 5:00 pm by only online performa submission.(i.e. sent by post/in-persion will not be entertained).
Last Words:- As exam was conducted for different Subjects under different session, Chandigarh Edu Deptt will upload Answer Key for each Set. It is advisable to all candidates to keep in touch with Recruitment Portal website for more updates related to Master/ Mistress Exam & Answer Key.
