exam for recruitment of Chief Medical Officer, Chief Manager, Manager, Deputy

Economist is as Follows:-

English Language Test (Essay), one question of 50 marks in 45 minutes.
Candidate will be required to answer by typing on computer.

Syllabus : SBI Specialist Officer
Syllabus 2015 is given below :-
Test
of Reasoning : Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and
differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving,
analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination,
observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure
classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and
decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.
Quantitative Aptitude Test :
Number
Systems : Computation of Whole
Number, Decimal and Fractions, Relationship between numbers
Fundamental
arithmetical operations : Percentages, Ratio and
Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest (Simple and Compound), Profit and
Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and
Distance, Time and Work.
Algebra : Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra and Elementary
surds (simple problems) and Graphs of Linear Equations.
Geometry : Familiarity with elementary geometric figures and facts:
Triangle and its various kinds of centres, Congruence and similarity of
triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a
circle, common tangents to two or more circles.
Mensuration : Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right
Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres,
Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square
Base.
Trigonometry : Trigonometry, Trigonometric ratios, Complementary angles,
Height and distances (simple problems only) Standard Identities like sin²Θ +
Cos²Θ =1 etc.
English
Language : Verb, preposition, adverb,
subject verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences
rearrangement, fill in the blanks with articles etc., comprehension, answering
questions based on unseen passage, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage,
vocabulary & grammar, Proficiency in the language.
Professional
Related Knowledge : Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions on the subject
concerned as per the qualification prescribed in the Recruitment Rules and
related to the trade/profession under the several posts.
Essay (Economics) :
Objective :
This paper is designed to test candidate’s (i) knowledge / awareness of a variety of subjects and (ii) their ability to compose a sustained piece of writing in the form of an essay.
