Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) will conduct aWritten exam for recruitment to vacancies (including Backlog) of Assistant Engineer (Civil & Mechanical). The standard of Competition level is raising with the time period as we are going onwards and time passing away rapidly. So candidate should knows that what should they have to prepare for their performance in examination. Candidates who are going to face this exam and are ignoramus about the scheme and syllabus. Now, here we are providing recommended latest exam pattern and syllabus.

Exam Syllabus : JPSC Assistant Engineer Exam Syllabus is given below:-

General Hindi & English : The question papers on General English & General Hindi will be designed to test the candidates understanding on use of language.
General Studies : The paper of General Studies will include knowledge of current events and matter of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects. The paper will indicates matter of scientific, social, economic and political matters with emphasis on development of Engineering Science including such research and innovations, information which are important for the development of Technology in the different disciplines of Engineering.
General Engineering Science : Mechanics of solids, Engineering Materials and Methodology of Constructions, Engineering Economy and Management, Transport Phenomenon, Energy Conversion, Environment Engineering, Survey Electrical shock Measuring Instrument, Mechanical shock Measuring Instrument, Elementary Engineering, Common to different disciplines of Engineering.
Civil Engineering : Hydrology and water resources open channel flow, Design of Hydraulic structure, Public Health Engineering.
Mechanical Engineering : Thermodynamics, I.C. Engines, Steam Boilers and all other steam operation equipments. Gas Turbines, compressors, Recreating and Regeneration, Heat Transfer, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Properties and clarification of fluids etc.
