MAHADISCOM Exam Syllabus 2015
Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Limited (MAHAVITRAN or MAHADISCOM) is going to conduct an online test for recruitment to posts of Assistant Engineer (Distribution), Junior Engineer (Distribution), Assistant Vigilance Officer (AVO) and Junior Assistant (Accounts). Candidates can get syllabus and exam pattern for these posts from hereunder.
Exam Pattern :- MAHADISCOM AE, JE, AVO & Junior Assistant exam Pattern is as follows :
► The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
► There will be composite paper carrying 130 questions of total150 marks.
► The time of 02:00 hours (120 minutes) will be allowed for online test.

Exam Syllabus :- MSEDCL Syllabus for Engineer and Jr. Assistant is :
Professional Knowledge : Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions on the subject/discipline concerned as per the qualification prescribed in the Recruitment Rules and related to the trade/profession under the several posts.
Reasoning : Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.
Quantitative Aptitude : Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.
Marathi Language : Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/Detecting Mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage.
