MEECL Exam Syllabus 2015
Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MEECL) will conduct a written examination for the recruitment to the posts of Assistant Engineer in Electrical/Mechanical, Civil and Environmental. Candidates who are going to participate in this written test can get the syllabus and exam pattern from hereunder.
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for MEECL AE written Exam is as Follows:-
► The written exam will be multiple choice objective type.
► The time duration of test will be 03:00 hours (180 minutes).

General Studies :
General English : Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/Detecting Mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage.
General Knowledge : In this objective of questions about general knowledge of surrounding society of the candidates to test the awareness about surrounding activities. Questions will also be included towards a scientist sight and thinking which expected from an educated person. So, candidates should must focus on affairs about India and its adjacent countries too. Scientific Progress/Development, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Books, Script, Capital, Currency, Sports-Athlete such as essential knowledge.
Aptitude : Verbal/Non-Verbal Reasoning, problem solving, analysis, judgment, relationship concepts, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs.
