development including Thermal, Solar and Wind Power— both within the country as
well as abroad.
Notification : NHPC Limited offers a challenging and
rewarding career to dynamic, young Graduates Engineers. Candidates interested
to join NHPC as Trainee Engineer (E-2) in 2015 are required to appear in
GATE-2016. Detailed eligibility criteria is given given here under :

Trainee Engineer (Electrical) (E-2) – 50 posts
Trainee Engineer (Civil) (E-2) – 20 posts
Trainee Engineer (Mechanical) (E-2) – 20 posts
Trainee Officer (Geology) (E-2) – 09 posts
Trainee Engineer (Electrical) (E-2) – 50 posts
Trainee Engineer (Civil) (E-2) – 20 posts
Trainee Engineer (Mechanical) (E-2) – 20 posts
Trainee Officer (Geology) (E-2) – 09 posts
Age Limit : The maximum age (as on 01.04.2016) shall
be 30 years.
Pay Scale : Rs. 20,600-3%-46,500/-
Essential Qualification : Candidate should have passed full time
regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.Sc (Engineering)
Degree from recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE OR AMIE
(enrolled before 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
