About Manipur University: Manipur University was established on 5 June 1980, under the Manipur University Act.1980 (Manipur Act 8 of 1980), as a teaching cum-affiliating University at Imphal with territorial jurisdiction over the whole of the state of Manipur. It was converted into a Central University 13 October 2005. The Manipur University Act No.54 of 2005 received the assent of the President on 28 December 2005. Manipur University Conducted entrance exam for B.Ed.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates with at least 50 percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and /or in the Master’s degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the programme. The relaxation in the qualifying marks in favour of the reserved categories shall be as per the rules of the central government.

Mode Of Selection: The selection of candidates for admission shall be on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and / or in the entrance examination. All eligible candidates shall have to appear in the admission test. The reservation of seats for ST/SC/OBC/PWD/Sports and Culture and any other category shall be determined as per rules laid down by the University from time to time.

Application Fee For This Post : Bank draft of Rs 400/- and Rs 200/-for SC/ST drawn in favour of the Registrar, Manipur University payable at SBI, MU Campus Branch (Code No. 5320).

How To Apply: Eligible Candidates purchase the Prospectus along with application forms will be available at the University Cash Counter on Payment of application fee. Candidates fill the application completely and application should be complete in all respect application should be correctly filled. Incomplete applications or applications received after the last date owing to postal delay or otherwise may be summarily rejected. Application should be accompanied with Blood Group Certificate. This certificate may be obtained from the Department of Anthropology of the University on payment of Rs. 50/- and along with the relevant documents and application shall be submitted to the Head of the Department.
