About
RPET: RPET or Rajasthan
Pre-Engineering Test is the test being conducted for the entrance in the
Undergraduate programs of the Engineering Colleges (except BITS Pilani, MNIT
Jaipur and other Deemed & Private Universities) of the Rajasthan state of
India. It also called as RPETEAP, which stands for Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test
for Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy. RPET is an entrance test conducted
by the Rajasthan Government to To Admission In 1st Year course of B.Tech/B.E.
Age
Limitation & Relaxation: Only those candidates
whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1989 are eligible. However,
in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Person with
Disability (PwD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, SC, ST and
PwD candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1984 are eligible. Date of
birth as recorded in the Secondary Education mark sheet / certificate only will
be taken as authentic.
Eligibility
Criteria: The minimum academic qualification for admission to
B.Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan is a pass with at least 45% marks (40% marks
in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Non creamy layer OBC/ Non creamy layer
SBC of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken
together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary
Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by
Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan / Central Board of secondary Education
(CBSE).
Application
Fee For This Post : Cost of RPET 2015 Application Form is Rs 800/- including the examination fees of RPET-2015.Candidates will
contact any e-Mitra/CSC kiosk center authorized by the Government of Rajasthan
and deposit a sum of Rs
815/- (Rs 800/- against Application form
Fees and Rs 15/- for e-Mitra service
charges). This amount is neither refundable nor transferable nor adjustable for
future RPET.
Examination Scheme: RPET-2015
shall consist of single examination of three hours duration containing 40
objective type questions in each of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry &
Mathematics. The total no. of questions will be 120 carrying one mark each.
There is no negative marking for wrong answer. The questions in the test booklet
will be in Hindi as well as in English. Case of any difference in Hindi &
English versions of question, the questions in English version shall be treated
as valid.
