Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is going to conduct 6th Combined
Civil Services Competitive Examination, 2015. Nowadays Competition Level become
very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. That’s why candidates are too
scared and stressed about their preparation of the Examination Students facing
critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare”. So, here we are
providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of CCS (Pre & Mains) Exam
conducting by JPSC.

is as follows :

The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
► There will be two composite papers of 200 marks each.
► Both paper will consist of 100 questions, each of 2 marks.
► The time duration will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes) for each paper.
► The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English.

Exam Syllabus :- JPSC Civil Services Mains Exam
Syllabus is as follows :
Paper-I: General Hindi & General English, having two
separate sections on (i) General Hindi, and (ii) General English, each of 50
marks.
Paper-II: Language and Literature: Under this paper, every
candidate will have to opt for one Language and Literature out of fifteen
listed by the Commission.
Paper-III: Social Sciences, having two distinct sections on
(i) History (ii) Geography, each of equal weightage.
Paper-IV: Indian Constitution & Polity, Public
Administration & Good Governance.
Paper-V: Indian Economy, Globalization and Sustainable
Development.
Paper-VI: General Sciences, Environment & Technology
