Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) Police Department is going to recruit Constable (Armed/ Executive) in JK Police. As the time passing away the standard of competitive examination is raising with the time period rapidly. So, candidates also must have to pay more attention towards their preparation to give the best in their examination. Now, we are rendering the determined latest scheme of examination and syllabus for your best preparation regards this screening test of Constable conducting by J&K Police.

Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Long Race
Male- 1600 meters in 06 minutes.
Female- 1000 meters in 06 minutes.
Pushups
Male- 20 (one cycle of up and down to be counted as one).
Shot Put (4 Kgs)
Female- 14½ feet in three attempts.
Physical Standard Test (PST)

► The candidates are also required to carry their original documents for scrutiny during the PST.
Written Examination
Exam Pattern :- JK Police Constable Exam Pattern is as follows :-
► The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
► There will be a paper of 100 marks.
► The time duration of test will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes).
Exam Syllabus :- J&K Police Constable Syllabus is given below :-
General Awareness & G.K. :- History, Geography and Socio Economic development of Jammu & Kashmir and India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India.
Language :- Candidates’ ability to understand correct language, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc.
Elementary Maths :- The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.
Reasoning :- It will include the question of both verbal and non-verbal type. Question will be asked from analogies, similarities and and differences, problem solving, relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions, Venn diagrams, relationship concepts and Ability to observe and distinguish patterns etc.
