About
AIIMS: All India Institute of Medical Sciences was established by an
Act of parliament of 1956 as an autonomous institution of national importance
and its objectives and functions were defined. By virtue of this Act, the
Institute awards its own medical degrees, diplomas and other academic
distinctions.
Age
Limitation & Relaxation: Should
have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years to be appear
for MBBS admission Entrance Exam 2015.
Eligibility
Criteria: Should have passed the 12 th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/
Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or
an equivalent examination of a recognized University/ Board of any Indian State
with English, Physics, Biology, Chemistry. Candidates who have appeared or are
appearing at the qualifying examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and
Biology as main subject and expect to pass the examination with required
percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive
Entrance Examination. However, their candidature will be considered only if
they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying examination
with the required subjects and percentage of marks
Minimum
Marks Aggregate: The minimum aggregate of the marks in English.Physics,Chemistry
and Biology obtained in the qualifying examination required for appearing in
this examination are
General and OBC candidates:
60% and
SC/ST /OPH Candidates : 50%.

Application Fee For This Post : General/OBC Category: Rs.1000/ –
+ Transaction Charges as applicable. SC/ST Category: Rs.800/ –
+ Transaction Charges as applicable. OPH Candidates is exempted from any Fee.
Payment is to be made through Computer generated Challan Form to be submitted
in any branch of State Bank of India /Debit Card/Credit Card.
Language Of Question Paper: Question
paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi according to the choice of
candidates. A candidate must select in the space provided in the application
form whether candidates prefers to have the question paper in English or Hindi.
This choice cannot be changed later at any stage.
How To Apply: A candidate seeking
admission to the Entrance Examination is required to apply online for
Registration in the prescribed form available at www.aiimsexams. The
fee for Online Registration includes the fee for entrance examination is non –
refundable and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.Do not
submit any document – original or photocopy – with the application; the
Institute does not take any responsibility for returning of these document.
Note: Candidates should not bring, wrist watches, cell phone, pager,
calculator or any kind of electronic gadgets etc. to the examination hall these
are strictly prohibited.
