About BITS:  Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) is an Indian institute of higher education and a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act. Eligibility Criteria:

For admission to all the above programmes except B.Pharm.(Hons.): Candidates should have passed the 12 th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.

For admission to B.Pharm.(Hons.) : Candidates should have passed the 12 th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and adequate proficiency in English. However candidates with PCM subjects may also apply for Pharmacy program.

BITSAT – 2015 Test Format:

BITSAT-2015 will be of total 3-hour duration (without break). The test consists of four parts:

Syllabus: The BITSAT-2015 test will be conducted on the basis of NCERT syllabus for 11 th and 12 th class. Candidates may refer to the NCERT textbooks for the contents. A sample test demonstrating the features of BITSAT will be made available to the registered candidates at the BITS website on which candidates can practice as many times as desired.

Procedure for Applying for admission:In addition to applying and appearing for BITSAT-20 15, candidates have to also apply for admission to BITS giving details of their 12 th class marks and preferences to different degree programmes offered. The prescribed application form for admission, the detailed application procedure and the final list of Degree programmes offered will be available at the BITS website, by 20 th May 2015. The completed form with the required application fee has to be submitted so as to reach The Dean Admissions, BITS Pilani – 333 031 Rajasthan on or before 5.00 PM on 30 th June 2015.

Application Fee For This Post : The prescribed fee for BITSAT 2015 is Rs. 2090/-(Rs. 1590/- for female candidates). If a candidate chooses Dubai as a test center the application fee for both male and female candidates will be same and will be US $ 50 (or Indian Rs. 3100/- ). Mode Of Payment:

1.Payment by Credit Cards and Debit Cards (All credit & Debit cards issued by Master and Visa) using Online Payment Gateway. More details are available on the payment page.

2.Payment through Net Banking enabled accounts of Indian banks using Online Payment Gateway: participating banks list will be displayed once you choose to pay through this mode.

3.By cash payment at all ICICI Bank branches in India along with a specially generated Pay-in Slip: choose to pay through Cash at ICICI Bank branches. You have to just download the specially designed Pay-in-slip from the website on the payments page and walk-into any ICICI bank branch along with cash. The bank shall deposit cash and give you a confirmation receipt for the same.
