Chandigarh Education Department had invited Online application for filling up 584 posts of Masters/Mistresses (Trained Graduate Teacher) in Science (Non- Medical), Science (Medical), Social Studies, Mathematics, Music, Fine Arts, English, Hindi, Punjabi, Sanskrit, DPE and Home Science. Exam of Masters/Mistresses will be held in the month of February, 2015.
Examination Date : Paper-I – 14.02.2015 and Paper-II – 14.02.2015 to 28.02.2015
Candidates who applied for this Competitive Exam should download their E-admit Card or Hall Ticket to enter in prescribed Exam Centre of this written exam conducting by Chandigarh Education Department. No Admit Card or Hall Ticket will reach home of Candidates by post, it can only be download from 03rd of February, 2015 onwards.
Plan of Exam
► Two objective type tests of 100 Marks each will be conducted.
► Candidates will be selected on the basis of total marks obtained in two tests.
► Qualifying marks for each test will be 40% for SC category candidates and 45% for all other candidates.
► There will be no negative marking.
► No interview will be conducted.
Written test consisting of Multiple choice questions will be conducted as under :
PAPER-1 (MORNING SESSION) (Duration 2 Hours)
Multiple choice questions having 20 questions each on English, Hindi, Mental Ability, General Awareness and Teaching Aptitude.
PAPER-2 (EVENING SESSION) (Duration 2 Hours)
Multiple choice questions related to subject(s) for which the candidates has applied. Level of questions will be as per qualification prescribed for the post.

SELECTION PROCEDURE 
After the conduct of written test answer key will be uploaded on website as per schedule for submission of objections by the candidates.
Marks obtained by the candidates in written test will be uploaded on the web site. Merit list prepared on the basis of marks in written test will be uploaded on the website and on the basis of said merit; candidates will be called for document verification. List of selected candidates will be released after checking of eligibility conditions.
