OSSC Exam Syllabus 2015
Orissa Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) will conduct Written exam for recruitment to the posts of Inspector of Textiles under the Directorate of Textiles & Handloom, Odisha. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Candidates facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare” to give their best in their exams. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Inspector of Textiles Exam conducting by Orissa Staff Selection Commission (OSSC).
Plan of Examination :(i) Objective type written test (OMR format) – 200 marks
(ii) Weightage on career evaluation – 10 marks(iii) Viva-voce test – 20 marks
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for Inspector of Textiles written test is as follows :
► The examination will comprise of two composite paper (objective type).
► Each paper will carry 100 marks.
► The time duration will be 01:30 hours (90 minutes) for each papers.
► All questions have to be answered on OMR answer sheet by blackening the correct circle by black ball point pen only.
Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for Small Savings Officer written test is as follows :
(a) Language paper :- 100 marks

The language paper will consist of two sections; one section comprising of 50 questions on Odia language and the other section Comprising 50 questions on English language, of matriculation Standard

(b) General Studies :- 100 marks

G.S paper will comprise of 100 questions. The questions will be objective type with multiple choices of answers, and will cover history and geography of India with special reference to Odisha, Indian polity, socio-economical scenario, general science, reasoning and logic. Basic computer knowledge & application skill, Numerical skill and quantitative aptitude The paper will also have a few questions to test elementary knowledge of accounting, Micro enterprise promotion, self Help Group, Co-operative movement, Tussar and handloom sector etc.in Odisha.

Viva-voce Test :

Candidates up to maximum 3 times the number of posts in each category will be called to appear at the viva-voce test subject to securing a minimum uniform cut-off mark as may be fixed by the Commission. The viva-voce test will carry 20 marks.

Career Assessment :

The career assessment will be done, who will be called to appear at the viva-voce test. This will carry 10 marks. The breakup of marks for assessment of academic career will be as follows :
