Sikkim PSC Exam Syllabus 2015
Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) will conduct a Written exam (Preliminary) for recruitment to the Accounts Officer in the Sikkim Finance and Accounts Service. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Candidates facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare”. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Accounts Officer (Preliminary) Exam conducting by Sikkim PSC.
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for Accounts Officer written Exam (Pre) is as Follows:-
► The written test will be multiple choice/objective type.
► The Examination shall comprise a single paper.
► Each question paper consist of 300 marks.
► The time duration will be 03:00 hours (180 minutes).
► The question papers will be set in English.
► The subject-wise allocation of marks would be as under :-
| i) | General English | 50 Marks |
| ii) | General Knowledge | 100 Marks |
| iii) | Mathematics, Knowledge of Economics, Business studies Accounting and Computer Applications | 150 Marks |
| TOTAL | 300 Marks |
Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for Sikkim PSC Accounts Officer (Pre) written Exam is given below :-
► Current events of National and International importance.
► Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
► Indian Polity & Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights & Issues
► Economic and Social Development- Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusive growth, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc.
► General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change – that do not require subject specialization.
► Basic Concept of Banking & Economics (Standard of Secondary School Level)
► Basic concept of Economics, Commerce and Principle of Accountancy (Standard of Secondary School Level)
► Basic Computer Application
► Logical reasoning and Analytical Ability
