Important Notice :- Tamil Nadu PSC had invited application for recruitment to the posts of Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category–I), Assistant Commissioner (C.T.) and Assistant Director of Rural Development Department included in Group-I Services against Notification No. 17/2013 dated 29.12.2013. Preliminary written test was conducted by TNPSC from 20.07.2014 FN & AN.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group-I Services Preliminary written Examination was held on 20th July, 2014. Candidates who qualified the screening test have to appear for Main Written Examination. Final selection will be based on marks of written exam/screening test and review of Personal Interview.
Important : Candidates who qualify in Pre exam, they have to send the copies of certificates in support of their claims (viz Educational Qualification, Date of Birth, Community, PSTM, Differently Abled, Ex-serviceman, Destitute Widow status etc.,) made in their online application and a copy of the online application by post so as to reach the Commission’s on or before 17.02.2015 without fail. Failure to send the copies of one/more of the documents mentioned above will entitle summarily rejection of his/her application. Any false claim made by the candidate will be viewed seriously and the candidate is liable for penal action to be imitated by the Commission besides rejection of the application.
In case of failure to send the documents and/or in case any rejection of applications, an additional provisional list of candidates to be admitted to the Main Written Examination will be published subsequently. Such candidates will be admitted to Main Written Examination after verification of documents to be submitted within the prescribed period.
