UPPSC Exam Syllabus 2015
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is going to conduct a written test and Practical for Regional Inspector (Technical) in Transport Department. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. That’s why candidates are too scared and stressed about their preparation of the Examination Students facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare”. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of RI written Exam conducting by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC).
Plan of Exam
i) Written Exam – 150 Marks
ii) Practical Test – 100 Marks
iii) Interview – 30 Marks
Exam Pattern : Scheme of Written Exam for Regional Inspector (Technical) is as follows :
► The written exam will be subjective type.
► There will be two paper in exam i.e. Paper-I of 50 marks and Paper-II of 100 marks.
► The time duration will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes) for Paper-I and 03:00 hours (180 minutes) for Paper-II.
► There will be two paper in exam i.e. Paper-I of 50 marks and Paper-II of 100 marks.
► The time duration will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes) for Paper-I and 03:00 hours (180 minutes) for Paper-II.
Exam Syllabus : Syllabus of written examination of Regional Inspector (Technical) is as follows :
Paper-I
A paper on Highway Code, the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988, Central Motor Vehicle rules, 1989 and Uttar Pradesh Motor Vehicle Rules, 1998. (50 Marks: 2 Hours)
Paper-II
A paper consisting of question of the following subject:
(i) Maintenance and upkeep of motor vehicles;
(ii) Principal factors relating to road safety;
(iii) Minor and major repairs of motor vehicle
(iv) Mechanism and working of diesel, Petrol, gas and dual fuel engines.
(v) Service check-up and model routine.
(vi) Vehicular Air and Noise pollution. (100 Marks : 3 Hours)
A practical on motor vehicles. (100 Marks)
1- Driving test on heavy vehicle as per the provisions of Motor Vehicle Act.
Driving Test:- Expert committee should observe and evaluate the candidates for their compliance to
(i) Precautions method before driving
(ii) Precautions method during driving
(iii) Precautions method after driving
Driving Test:- Expert committee should observe and evaluate the candidates for their compliance to
(i) Precautions method before driving
(ii) Precautions method during driving
(iii) Precautions method after driving
2-Dismantling and Assembling of different components using proper tools and following proper safety procedures.
For the dismantling and assembling of different components, a complete written record of each of the activity will be recorded by the candidate. The record will consist of-
(i) Observations of the defective part,
(ii) Diagnosis and fault finding,
(iii) Remedial measures.
Personality Test. (30Marks).
Personality Test will be held by the commission after the Written and Practical Examination on Dates to be communicated in due course and will be confined to such number of candidates only as have qualified in the Written and the practical test, candidates will also have to pass a test in driving heavy transport vehicles.
