Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) had invited applications for 1690 Posts of Conductor (Parichalak) in UPSRTC, Lucknow. Candidates are
applying for that Post but Question will be arising in their Minds what will be
the Exam Pattern & Syllabus for the UPSSSC Conductor Posts. So in this Article,

Parichalak Exam.
Selection
Process :- Selection of UPSSSC
Conductor/ Parichalak on following three Phases :-
Phase-I → Written Test = 300 Marks
Phase-II → Preferential Qualification = 10 Marks
Phase-III → Interview/ Viva-Voce Test = 35 Marks
Phase-I
(Written Test)
Exam
Pattern:- UPSSSC
Conductor/Parichalak Exam Pattern will be as follow :-

The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
► There will be only one composite paper containing 150 questionscarrying 300 Marks.
► The time duration of test will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes).

Exam Syllabus :- UPSSSC Conductor Syllabus
2015 is given hereunder :
Part-I [General
Intelligence Test] :- The purpose of this is the
ability to test the candidate’s understanding of a new situation, analyze and
identify its various elements. Questions in this test will be based on the
Understanding and explore instructions, relationships, similarities, consistent,
conclusions and actions etc.
NOTE :- Questions may also be ask from the following Topics in UPSSSC
Exam : Analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial
orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual
memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic
reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series,
non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic
reasoning.
Part-II [General
Knowledge] : This part of UPSSSC
Conductor Exam question paper is to assess the candidates’ ability regarding
general knowledge about his/her surroundings and about its use in society. In
this test such a question which will be kept to check current events and everyday
science and the facts of experience which may include historical and
geographical facts. (Specially Related to India) and judged them to the
knowledge of the scientific aspects, which can be expected of any educated
person.
NOTE :- Question may also be asked from Indian History, Indian Polity,
Current Events, Geography, Economy etc. Focus will be on Current national &
International events, banking, sports etc.
Part-III [General
Hindi] : The questions will be
asked from the candidates to test their knowledge of Hindi Language and
comprehension.
हिंदी वर्णमाला, विराम चिन्ह, शब्द रचना, वाक्य रचना, अर्थ, शब्द-रूप, संधि, समास, क्रियाएँ, अनेकार्थी शब्द, विलोम शब्द, पर्यायवाची शब्द, मुहावरे एवं लोकोक्तियाँ, तत्सम एवं तद्भव, देशज, विदेशी (शब्द
भंडार), वर्तनी, अर्थबोध, हिंदी भाषा के प्रयोग में होने वाली अशुद्धियाँ, उ.प्र. की मुख्य बोलियाँ
Part-IV [Mathematics]
: Level of Mathematics will be of High School
Level. Focus will be on Area, Menstruation. Detailed Syllabus is as follows :
Arithmetic
& Statistics : Number System, Percentage, Profit Loss, Statistics,
Classification of Facts, Frequency, Frequency Distribution, tabulation,
Cumulative Frequency. Formulation of Facts, Bar Chart, Pie Chart, Histogram,
Frequency Polygon, Central measurement : Parallel Mean, Median & Mode.
Algebra : LCM & HCF, Relation between LCM & HCF, Simultaneous
equations, Quadratic Equations, Factors, Area theorem.
Geometry : Triangle & Pythagoras Theorem, Rectangle, Square, Trapezium,
The perimeter & Area of the parallelogram, The perimeter & Area of
Circle.
Phase-II
(Preferential Qualification)
More
than three years old Driving License Holder of driving Motor Vehicle (Heavy
Vehicle). – Maximum 10 Marks
Phase-III
(Interview)
There will be a interview/
viva-voce test of 35 marks. The final merit will be based on marks of all three
phases of selection process.
