The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) conducted an Examination for appointment to entry level Scientific posts in various ICAR Institutes, including Deemed Universities of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). This examination known asAgricultural Research Service examination (ARS) 2014, was conducted in two stages viz Preliminary and Mains followed by an interview.
About ARS Exam 2014 :- For ARS Examination-2014, 307 vacancies were notified in 37 disciplines related to agricultural and allied sciences. The ARS Preliminary Examination- 2014 was conducted during 22.09.2014 to 28.09.2014 and 27.10.2014 to 31.10.2014 at Jammu & Kashmir centre. Based in the performance in the Preliminary Examination, 2065 candidates qualified for ARS (Main) written examination. The ARS (Main) written examination was conducted on 28th December, 2014. After that, Viva-Voce Test (Interview) were held from 09th March to 10th April, 2015.
