LATEST UPDATE : Bihar SSC has decided to give chance for All Applicants for 299 Sub Inspector Posts. Earlier in 2011 only 223 candidates were allowed to appear in the Exam. It is well known that further Applications were invited to fill 299 SI Posts. Candidates who have already Registered for SI post under Advt No. 704, are advised to provide Application in Written Form from 16.07.2015 to 31.07.2015 if they found any mistake in Database uploaded by Bihar SSC. It should be noted that Application Received after 1.08.2015 will not be accepted.
Candidates of Advt No. 704/04 are advised to fill their Roll No. in Application Form also. This Competitive Exam is limited to the Candidates participate in advt no. 704.
Important Notice:- Bihar Staff Selection Commission will conduct Written exam for Physical Test qualified candidates for Recruitment of Sub Inspector. Candidates first have to go through Physical Examination & Measurement Test. After that they will be eligible for Written Exam. Date of Exam will notify Later on after PET.

Selection Procedure:- There are only Three Stages of Selection of Sub Inspector in Bihar. Selection Process conclude Physical Test, Written Exam & Medical Examination. There will be No Interviewfor this Post.
Scheme of Exam:-
- Mains written exam will be of 300 marks consisting of multiple choice questions.
- There will be 3 written papers in this exam.
- There will be negative marking in this exam. For Each wrong Answer 0.2 marks will be deducted
